Kemenhub Kerahkan 300 Bus Untuk Dukung Mobilisasi Atlet Asian Games
Perhelatan akbar Asian Games 2018 tinggal menghitung hari. Untuk menunjang kelancaran mobilitas transportasi para atlet, official, dan supporter hari ini, Kamis, 9 Agustus 2018, Kementerian Perhubungan menyerahkan sebanyak 300 bus kepada penyelenggara Asian Games INASGOC.
“Total yang diserahkan 300 bus. 200 bus digunakan di Jakarta, di Palembang 100 bus. Bus ini sebenernya disewa (Kementerian Perhubungan) 21 hari,” kata Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi usai menyerahkan bus bantuan Asian Games 2018 di Wisma Atlet, Kemayoran, Jakarta Pusat.
Menhub mengatakan telah menyiapkan anggaran sebesar Rp 7 milyar rupiah untuk menyediakan 300 bus bantuan Asian Games 2018.
Tidak hanya bus, Menhub menyebut para supir yang melayani juga telah diberikan pelatihan sebelumnya sehingga nantinya benar-benar siap melayani atlet, official, dan supporter Asian Games 2018.
“Supir bus sudah dilakukan pelatihan sehingga siap untuk melayani baik perilaku, pelayanan kepada atlet dan official termasuk perilaku berkendara yang berkeselamatan. Bus-bus sudah dilakukan ramp check,” ujarnya
Lanjutnya Menhub berharap pelaksanaan Asian Games dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada keluhan dari para atlit dan official negara peserta Asian Games.
“Kalau bisa zero complain artinya semua atlet, official sampai di lokasi pertandingan tepat waktu tidak tersasar, dll,” ungkapnya.
Menhub menambahkan nantinya para pengemudi bus khusus Asian Games ini akan diberikan e-log book dengan mengunakan aplikasi android. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk mengawasi jam kerja pengemudi yang hanya 8 jam per hari, riwayat kesehatan, posisi awal pengemudi dan tujuan akhir.
